The Wedding of Angelo & Faye

I’ve had the privilege of being a Medicard member for over two decades, and during that time, I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Angelo Taylor at the Medicard Clinic in Festival Mall. He was not your typical doctor – Dr. Taylor took the time to truly know his patients, going above and beyond to understand their needs. His dedication to his patients left quite an impression on me, and I’m grateful to say that we became friends.

It was such an honor when Dr. Taylor approached me to plan and coordinate his wedding. Knowing all that he had been through before meeting Faye, I felt an immense joy that he had finally found someone to love him. Initially, he had envisioned an extravagant wedding, but as plans progressed, they decided on a more intimate and simple affair. In fact, I must say that Dr. Taylor was even more hands-on in the planning process than Faye. His excitement radiated, and I couldn’t help but share his enthusiasm for marrying the love of his life.

Their wedding taught me some valuable lessons and opened my eyes to new perspectives. I witnessed firsthand how they made adjustments to fit their budget without compromising on the beauty and significance of their special day. It reminded me of the power of kindness and how it can come back to us in the most wonderful ways. Their friends came together to offer their support, making the impossible possible. It was a testament to the relationships they had built over the years.

Of course, no wedding is without its challenges. Along the way, we encountered a few hiccups that taught me the importance of careful vendor selection and taking full responsibility for any mistakes made. Despite my friendship with Dr. Taylor, I made it a point to separate that from our professional dealings. I did not make excuses or take advantage of our relationship; instead, I took full responsibility for any inconvenience caused by our mistake.

I am immensely grateful for my amazing team of angels (staff) who gracefully tackled the challenges and kept their cool under pressure. Their dedication and professionalism were truly remarkable, and I couldn’t have asked for a more reliable and supportive group. Their unwavering commitment to excellence made Dr. Taylor and Faye’s wedding a success. I am honored to have such incredible individuals by my side. Even if there were hiccups, in my book, it was a success.

And of course, I am grateful for the opportunity to have been a part of Dr. Taylor and Faye’s wedding journey. They exemplified resilience and grace, and their love story will forever be etched in my heart. As a wedding planner, I am continuously learning and growing, using each experience to improve my craft and ensure that future couples receive the best possible service.
