Mike saw me in Facebook in 2009. He had a lot of questions and it sounded really more like an online interview, less the video. But after answering his concerns I started to communicate with with Janice for our Full Planning and Coordination service. Both Mike and Janice are Pinoy Expats, working in Canada as nurses.

Janice is pretty much hands on with her wedding. Always makulit and bubbly and the very first bride to call me “Summery”.

In this post, Janice shares her thoughts on how she decided to hire us to plan her wedding:

“how did i meet summery? after talking/reviewing a lot of wedding planners/events person from the net and thru friends suggestions… i think summer and I were meant to be…. my husband said a batchmate of his was a wedding planner but he doesn’t want to mix/have business with friends….but he saw summer (you) in his friends list as a wedding planner too….

tapos, a friend of ours (khelle) also mentioned she’s facebook friends with you, but she doesn’t know you personally….

then i copy-paste my inquiries to various wedding planners…. after much deliberation i decided on simply beautiful events.

i was very much surprised to learn that said company and the person hubby and friend were suggesting was yours… lols.

so, it was meant to be… and i believe in things like that….

after intial conversations/emails with you…i learned that you were the person for me…giving me a free hand with the decisions and at the same time guiding me to make an informed one… also, being a realistic person, i knew first-hand that i need a person who can keep in track if i go overboard with the wedding details….

all though out the preparation, i appreciated how you did the small things for me…. for you it was not only a business thing but you were also looking out for my interests….. with the other wedding planners, when i made inquiries, i had a feeling they were smelling Canadian dollars… hehheheh”
